About Caring for a Cause Supportive Services Inc.
Caring for a Cause Supportive Services is a local 501C3 nonprofit organization established in 2015. Our programs have been in existence since 2011. We are dedicated to creating and managing programs that tangibly support and enhance, the physical and emotional well-being of financially disadvantaged families in Central Indiana who are facing socioeconomic hardship.
The founder Tamara Ajimati was inspired to form Caring for a Cause Supportive Services due to her Aunt. Her Aunt lived in Detroit, Michigan and worked as a social worker. Her Aunt would give someone the shirt off of her back. Tamara spent many summers shadowing her Aunt working as the Director of a Detroit Community Center. She gained a lot of experience, knowledge, and compassion to give back to the community.
