Use What You’ve Got Selected for Amplify Hope Program!
We are excited to announce our newest member of the Amplify Hope Program is Cecelia Whitfield and Use What You’ve Got!
For those of you not familiar with the Amplify Hope Program, it is an incubator for emerging non-profits that offers a place to share ideas and resources in a centralized think tank to optimize positive social impact in the community. This is a 10 month program with monthly challenges, masterminds, and accountability group meetings. We are leading up to a competitive fundraiser, and will end the year with the Amplify Awards. Our program is creating massive positive social impact in Central Indiana and our cohort members LOVE IT!
About Use What You’ve Got
The children and families of the incarcerated are often the forgotten hidden victims in the criminal justice system. Emotional and logistical challenges often make the family members feel that they, too, have been imprisoned.
By providing transportation, Use What You’ve Got Prison Ministry (UWYGPM) affords these families the ability to maintain crucial connections during the incarceration of their loved ones. To propel the fragile family unit from a state of hopelessness to optimism is our ultimate goal.
